The story behind the Karnan remake

Dhanush's recent entertainer Karnan turned out to be a good hit in Kollywood. The film is getting remade in Tollywood and Bellamkonda Srinivas is starring in the remake. Though the director for the remake is not yet confirmed, rumors have it that Srikanth Addala who is directing Dhanush's Asuran remake will be directing the Karnan remake. Another rumor has that VV. Vinayak may also direct the remake.

Inside talk is Suresh Babu who acquired the remake rights of Karnan, planned to do the film with Venkatesh who is currently starring in the Asuran remake. But Venkatesh at once rejected the offer saying the story will not workout in Tollywood. It is now the hot topic for discussion as Venkatesh who shows interest in remaking hit films in other languages rejected the film outright. It has to be seen what result Bellamkonda Srinivas will get from the Karnan remake.
