Heavy rains damage Chhatrapati remake sets

The incessant rains have created havoc in some parts of Hyderabad in the last couple of days. These rains damaged 6 acres of set properties that were specially assembled for the remake of ‘Chhatrapati’ movie.

With ‘Chhatrapati’ young hero Bellamkonda Sreenivas is set to debut in Bollywood. The pre-production works were almost over and just when the makers were planning to commence the shooting once the things settle down, the rains caused the damage.

Art director Sunil Babu designed these sets which compromise of a village with special detailing and now they are in deplorable condition. The damage is yet to be estimated and the makers will take a call on the shooting depending upon it.

This means ‘Chhatrapati’ is not going to start anytime soon!
