Multi starrers once again started attracting Tollywood movie lovers. In the olden days' stars like NTR, ANR, Krishna, Krishnam Raju,Sobhan Babu and others used to thrill movie lovers with multistarrers.
However multi starrers disappeared from the screen much to the disappointment of the movie lovers. Many dreamed of multi starrers from Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna but they disappointed everyone. Rumors spread that their egos did not let multi starrers happen.
Inside talk is Raghavendra Rao planned a powerful multi starrer with Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, and Venkatesh. He even zeroed in on Triveni Sangamam as the title and discussions were held in 2001-2002. During that time producer, Ashwini Dutt made one remark and that made Raghavendra Rao shelve the project.
He said why to have a headache as even if one hero gets less screen presence, fans of these stars fight between themselves. Thus Raghavendra Rao shelved the project and did Gangotri with Allu Arjun.
