Natural Star Nani will be seen in period drama, Shyam Singha Roy. The film is set against Kolkata thus majority of the film portions has to be shot in the said backdrop. But since the second wave has gripped the entire nation, filmmaker Rahul Sankrityan has moved Kolkata to Hyderabad.
As reported earlier a massive set is contributed in Hyderabad in a sprawling 10-acres land. In order to replicate the Kolkata city, the art design team has spent four months in Kolkata understanding the architectural design of the 1960s era. A whopping rs 6.5 crores have been spent for the massive set which is now the latest talkpoint in showbiz.
Since it is Kolkata style architecture, the team hired Bengali workers as they are comfir with the material used that is bricks and clay, unlike local workers. The popular Kali temple was also built in the CIty with 1200 workers in two months. Thus the team is leaving no stone unturned to get the best for the flick.
