'AmaravatiNI CHAMPESAARU.....AmaravatiNI VURI THEESARU...Amaravati VUSURU THEESARU.'
Every now and then, we come across banner headings or articles with the aforementioned titles in the newspapers like Eenadu, Andhrajyothi etc. To gain the sympathy and support of the people, yellow media houses and the TDP leaders personified the artificial capital created by the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.
Reading the articles under above headings, one would wonder if CBN's Amaravati is a human being that it was killed by the ruling YSRCP.
As a matter of fact, people are really depressed with the fate of Amaravati. They really made an outcry chanting the words, " AmaravatiNI CHAMPESAARU.....AmaravatiNI VURI THEESARU...Amaravati VUSURU THEESARU."
But then, this is about the people at real Amaravati which was merely undermined by CBN's fake Amaravati we are talking about.
Real Amaravati is a small town located on the banks of Krishna river, Guntur district. This is located 35 km away from the fake Amaravati created by CBN. This Amaravati is of historical significance with lord Buddha's ancient statues installed here and there.
Real Amaravati was called as 'Dhanyakatakam' and 'Dharanikota' centuries ago. The city was made headquarters and was ruled by Pallavas and Satavahanas.
Amaravati is also one of the five Pancharama Kshetras of Andhra Pradesh. Amaralingeswara Swamy shrine is the renowned temple in the state.
BOTTOM-LINE: Borrowing Amaravati title from historical Amaravati itself for the 3-crop yielding land is a crime. Somehow, it appears CBN killed the real Amaravati with a fake Amaravati. And now, TDP leaders are requested to get the name of artificial Amaravati titled is changed for the sake of people at real Amaravati.
