Middle Class Abbayi (MCA) released almost four years ago was the biggest hit in Nani’s career. Though the film received mixed to negative reviews, Nani’s good form helped the film to rake big numbers at box office. However, many slammed the actor for his routine looks and performance.
After MCA, Nani tasted four flops to disasters, while his Jersey ended up as a cost failure. Now, the actor is pinning many hopes on his next two releases. Shiva Nirvana who delivered super hit Ninnu Kori with Nani ha directed Tuck Jagadish releasing on Aril 23rd, while Rahul Sankrityan is directing Nani in Shyam Singha Roy.
Tuck Jagadish Parichaya Veduka happened last night in Rajahmundry and Nani went overboard while speaking at the event. He said he won’t encourage fans as he doesn’t like them involving in any fan wars. “I don’t want big cutouts or palabhishekam like others. I want my fans to feel proud of me like my parents. I promise you to work hard every day to make all of you proud.”
Nani made an interesting comment in the end saying, “You might be seeing me stacking the bricks one after the other. But, one day you will see a solid wall. Even bulldozers can’t touch it.”
Apparently, Nani is pretty confident of scoring back to back hits with his upcoming films. But the solid wall and bulldozer comment sounds odd. “Is it Nani’s confidence or over confidence,” question a movie buff, as nobody expect such comments from a calm-going person like Nani whose comments hinted that he is set to grab the No 1 position in Tollywood soon!
