Top Actress Fails Utterly Before Character Artist

There was comparison between Allari Naresh’s Naandhi and Nithiin’s Check over basic plotline and other factors. While Naandhi that received positive talk after release is heading for a commercial hit, Check failed to impress neither critics nor audiences. Naandhi was made on moderate budget, while huge budget was spent on Check.

Interestingly, heroines Varalakshmi and Rakul Preet Singh played advocates in Naandhi and Check respectively. Varalakshmi makes entry just before intermission, wherein Rakul Preet Singh played a full-length role.

While Varalakshmi spellbind with her performance, Rakul failed utter to make any impression. While people blew whistles for Varalakshmi’s entry, Rakul botched to create any magic as the role lacked the intensity and she too underperformed.

Rakul Preet Singh didn’t have a proper hit for long time, Varalakshmi scored two back to back hits this year with Krack and Naandhi.
