In the film industry, all it takes is one good/hit film to bounce back and this is what Krack has done to the career of Sudhakar Komakula, who debuted in director Sekhar Kammula’s Life is Beautiful. After films like Kundanapu Bomma, Nuvvu Thopu Ra and Undile Manchi Kaalam Mundu Munduna where he played the lead role, the actor took a reasonable risk by committing to a special cameo of a police constable in Krack. However, the risk has certainly paid off.
“I was a little sceptical about taking up a brief role after a series of solo-lead films. However, director Gopichand Malineni convinced me that my role is significant in taking the story forward. I trusted him completely and I couldn’t have asked for more. I consider Ravi Teja an idol of sorts in the film industry and the working experience with him was truly special. I had an injury in the middle of the shoot too but the role and the reception have left me completely satisfied,” the actor shares.
Krack’s success has been a good boost to Sudhakar Komakula, who has a lot of films in the pipeline this year. He’ll next be joining the sets of an action-thriller where he plays the lead protagonist. Sudhakar was also in the news for his cover version of Induvadana Kundaradana song from Chiranjeevi’s Challenge, commemorating the star’s birthday in 2020.
