CJ Initiates: Producers Take Cue! Appeals to Govts

Tamil Nadu government's sensible decision allowing 100% occupancy in film theatres instead of existing rule of 50% occupancy, has impressed everyone related to Kollywood along with the common audience.

While reporting the news in 'Cinejosh' with the heading 'TN Govt on 100% Occupancy', we advised both the Telangana and AP state governments to permit 100% occupancy in Telugu states as well. In fact, Sankranthi is the best of all seasons for films' releases in Telugu states. 

Having taken a cue from CJ's advice, the producers council released a press note appealing both the governments to issue 100% occupancy G.O. to the film theatres in Telugu states as well. 

The CMs of both the Telugu states are on friendly terms with the Telugu film industry. A positive and an encouraging decision from them is awaited.
