The success of Sai Tej and Nabha Natesh starrer Solo Brathuke So Better at box office brought new excitement to other stars and filmmakers. Nearly 4 to 5 films will be hitting the screens for the coming sankranthi. Ravi Teja’s Krack, Ram’s Red, Bellamkonda Srinivas’s Alludu Adhurs and Vijay’s Master are the films confirmed for Sankranthi release.
However, Akkineni Thrayam Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil will be missing biggest film festival of Tollywood. Nagarjuna’s Wild Dog directed by debutant Ashishor Solomonis done with its shoot long ago and the film’s post-production works are also in full swing. But, makers of the film are not interested to release it under the circumstances of only 50 % seating capacity. They are planning to release the film in summer.
Naga Chaitanya’s romantic musical entertainer Love Story under the direction of Shekar Kammula with Sai Pallavi playing the female lead is also ready for release. But, producers of this film too are of the same opinion. They are willing to release Love Story in summer.
Last but not the least, Akhil’s Most Eligible Bachelor release was planned for Sankranthi release. They announced the same with posters and teaser of the film. However, the film directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and co-starring Pooja Hegde is out of sankranthi race.
It is learnt that, they are going for re-shoot of the film which is the reason for the postponement in release. This film too will grace the theatres in summer.
For different reasons, Akkineni Thrayam will be missing Sankranthi season. But, they are wishing to cash in summer season. It has to be seen whether there will be any clash among the Akkineni films in summer.
