Akkineni Manam 2 On Cards: Deets Inside

Manam will remain to be most special film for Akkineni family and fans. For the first time, all the Akkineni actors including the legend ANR featured in the film. Samantha who is now Akkineni bahu shared screen space with Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil was seen in a cameo.

Now, as per a grapevine, a film in the lines of Manam with all the Akkineni heroes is on cards. Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil will play the lead roles and Samantha will also be part of it. Rahul Ravindran who shares good rapport with Akkineni family will direct the film which is in script stages.

Made his directorial debut with the hit film Chi La Sow, Rahul wanted to direct Chay in his second film. But, Nagarjuna asked him to remake a Hollywood film and Manmadhudu 2 ended up as a disaster. Then, Nag assured to work for another film with Rahul who came up with the proposal of Manam kind film and the former readily agreed to it.

If things materialize, the new project to be bankrolled by Nagarjuna himself under Annapurna Studios banner will start rolling sometime next year.
