"Gradually, our eyes are getting opened with the YSRCP government's rule. Initially, we thought the government was ensuring revolutionary reforms in the education system. But then, it now appears the government is damaging the spirits of merit students and meritorious educational institutions just to make some people benefitted," says an educationist who feels great agony alleging the collapse of the educational system.
"All this chaos was started when the government initiated online admissions for Intermediate. Had there been an old system of counselling, the merit students could have joined top colleges of their choice in which best education is offered to secure better ranks at IIT and NEET entrance examinations.
Now that the AP government intentionally took the online admissions decision against merit students, most of the merit students have decided to join top educational institutions of Telangana and Karnataka states.
Fortunately, the AP High Court has issued a stay order against Intermediate online admissions. Hopefully, HC should become the saviour of merit based education in AP," the educationist added.
