Madhavan Neglected Like Sudheer Babu!

Directed by Hemanth Madhukar, Nishabdham is a suspense thriller revolving around a speech and hearing impaired artist, her celebrity-musician husband, and the strange disappearance of her best friend. The film will be releasing on Amazon Prime Video on October 2nd.

The gripping suspense thriller stars Anushka Shetty, R Madhavan, and Anjali in the lead roles along with Shalini Pandey, Subbaraju, and Srinivas Avasarala essaying pivotal roles. The film also marks the Indian cinema debut of Michael Madsen of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs fame.

Apparently, makers of Nishabdham are not giving much significance to any actor other than Anushka. Madhavan who is a popular actor in south cinema is also neglected. The major focus in promotional content was on Anushka’s role and Madhavan didn’t get much space. Even during promotions, everybody is talking about Anushka.

This reminds us of the situation of Sudheer Babu who was neglected in similar way. His last outing V co-starring Nani was released on Amazon Prime. The film was promoted as if Nani is the only hero and Sudheer Babu essayed a supporting role.

Coming to Nishabdham, it is not clear whether makers are intentionally ignoring Madhavan or there will be a surprising factor around his character in the film. We will get clarity on this in a week days.
