They Refused To Work With Vijay Deverakonda

Vijay Deverakonda was not a big star before the release of Arjun Reddy, though his first film as solo hero- Pelli Choopulu was a super hit. He has become overnight star after Arjun Reddy and he has fans in north India as well. However, his stylist Shravya Varma made a sensational claim that designers didn’t come forward to design costumes for Vijay Deverakonda, before Arjun Reddy.

“Earlier, few designers didn’t show any interest to work with south Indian actors. But, now situation has been changed. Those who were reluctant to design dresses for south stars are now opening stores here. Vijay Deverakonda was not that popular, before Arjun Reddy. Thus, a designer refused to design costumes for Vijay. But, the same person came to me asking he wants to design dresses for Vijay,” says Shravya who is also the designer for Rashmika Mandanna and many other south Indian stars.

As is known, Vijay Deverakonda started his own clothing brand Rowdy which is very successful now. He is presently working for Puri Jagannadh’s Fighter where he’s romancing Ananya Pandey. The Pan India film marks Bollywood debut of Vijay Deverakonda.
