The lockdown has not been kind to alcohol dependent people, in fact proving fatal for some. When social distancing means no social drinking, not even a convivial beer or glass of wine, and lockdown translates to no alcohol at all with bars and retail outlets firmly shut. Many, even among the affluent, are rationing their drinks and borrowing from others who might have some extra bottles stashed away.

Telugu industry people with alcohol habit are no different from the commoners with drinking addiction. In fact, their situation is far worse than the common people. Fortunately, few stars and filmmakers who maintain good stock of liquor in their personal or home bars having no issues with the lockdown.

However, the main problem these celebs facing is the ‘alcohol’ calls they are getting from close aides and also from their personal staff. One such director who is getting numerous calls from his close pals is said to be getting vexed.

The mass director known for making hero centric films and has come out of flop streak with a blockbuster in recent times has the habit of purchasing costly liquor bottles whenever he goes to foreign locations for his movie shootings.

He has the habit of throwing parties at his office whenever his film gets positive talk. But, now he is enquired by few actors and directors whether he has any extra stock. While he offered some bottles initially, he is now trying avoid ‘alcohol’ calls as to save some for self.
