It seems Telangana CM KCR mounted a huge pressure on AP CM Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy on employees salaries. It is a known news that the TRS government deducted employees salaries for the month of March ranging between 10% and 75 based on various categories of the employees.
Initially, AP CM Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy wanted to release the salaries of the employees without any deductions. Maybe KCR worried it would send wrong feelers to his government. Sensing the threat, KCR has made use of Jagan's novice as a CM, and pressurized him to impose 50% pay cutting to employees. As a result the AP government released a G.O. on Tuesday night mentioning the particulars of deductions. However, the government's G.O. reads that the pay deduction is just a 'Deferment' which means the rest of the pay will be paid in future. Moreover, unlike Telangana CM and MLAs, 100% salaries of the AP CM, MLAs and MLCs will be deducted.
IAS, IFS and IPS officers will get only 40% gross salary while all other categories will get 50% gross salary.. There will be 50% gross deferment for pensioners as well.
