Controversy over Kangana Ranaut, Krish's Manikarnika -The Queen of Jhansi refuses to die down. Many are left wondering whether Krish is jealous or hurt with Kangana's behavior. Despite Manikarnika's mixed reviews, she is winning the appreciation for her powerful performance.

Krish who remained silent after he came out of Manikaranika, started attacking Kangana Ranaut after the release of Balakrishna's NTR biopic's first part Kathanayakudu. He said the makers twisted history and if he talks anything ahead of the film release, it would result in undue controversy.

After Manikarnika release, Krish thanked movie lovers for turning the film into a hit. Many netizens blasted Krish for remaining silent even when Kangana claimed credit for directing the film but now trying to claim credit for the film's success. They attacked him for waiting till the film release and finding the result before responding on the issue.

Many felt had Krish remained silent, it would have been more graceful. It is known that Krish who left Manikarnika for NTR biopic got a huge shock when Kathanayakudu turned out to be one of the all time disasters in Tollywood. People felt that had Krish completed Manikarnika commitments before taking on NTR biopic, he would have won the appreciation of all.

Now Krish speaking to scribes shocked all making sensational allegations against Kangana. He said she was rude and wanted to do everything by herself. He said he completed entire film including editing in June and except for Kangana everyone dubbed for the film. Kangana he said was busy shooting for Mental Hai Kya in London at that time.

Krish said, "She returned, saw the film and said that she liked it. She however added that she had few small concerns. After few days, she said that iska jyaada hai, uska jyaada hai, this girl is overpowering, that girl is overpowering. Then she came up with yeh change karna hai, woh change karna hai. She also said that Kamal Jain (producer) hadn't liked the film."

He said he agreed for the reshoot and revealed, "Kangana was not required in that extra time. I discussed with Prasoon Joshi and few others how we will go about it. And then, she suddenly rose to say that Sonu's character (Sadashiv Rao, a nobleman who plots against Rani Laxmibai) should be killed at the interval point. This was completely against history."

He said Kangana insisted on Sonu Sood'c character be killed during the interval but Krish added, "Sonu was playing an important antagonist, he had a beautiful arc in the story and we had shot with him beautifully for 35 days, Sadashiv would have died in the film but just little before Laxmibai's death". He said it resulted in arguments with the producer supporting Kangana. He said he put his foot down trying to explain him that they were going against history but Kangana and Kamal remarked, "So what? Let's just do what's good for the film."

"I told them that I won't direct that change in Sonu's role. Kamal Jain replied that Kangana will direct. Sonu told me that he wasn't going ahead if I was not taking any further part,” affirmed Krish. Rubbishing Kangana's claims that Sonu was against starring in her direction, he said, "That was annoying and bad. It never happened. What she said was untrue. I don't blame Sonu for quitting. His run time was 100 minutes and it was being chopped to 60 minutes. Who will agree? Nobody would."

He added, "Blatantly reduced" the length of her co-stars' parts as "she wanted everything to herself". "Rani Laxmibai's counterparts are not strong. They haven't come out very well. Like for one, Sonu Sood had actually shot for Sadashiv Rao's part. Zeeshan is a brilliant actor, but the audience didn't get to see what Sonu had done. If you see it, you will understand what I mean."

Krish pointing out to Manikarnika's mistakes said, "Even Atul Kulkarni's role. He plays Tatya Tope, a very important character. But a lot of his portions have been removed. Even Kashibai's (Prajakta Mali) parts which I had shot, have been deleted to a large extent. I don't know why so many characters got cut. The story would have otherwise been better."

He said "Kangana tried to convince him that Zee Studios did not like what he had made at all and that "it was looking like a Bhojpuri film. I laughed. People know my previous work. We argued but she wanted her own way. I just couldn't understand."

Krish said the makers in the title card used his name as Radhakrishna Jagrlamudi which he never uses and when he tried to get it corrected, Kangana told that he did not support in Sonu Sood's episode and now he came as he needs her. She said he has anger management issues but added that it was Kangana who was shouting at him. Krish wondered, "I don't think how Kangana can sleep well by taking the first credit in direction when she does not deserve it."
