Proud Moment: India Wins ICC U-19 World Cup

Bringing laurels to 1.32 billion people of India, ICC Under 19 Indian cricket team snatched a thumping victory over Australia today. Rahul Dravid, the Indian Coach, had all praises for the men in blue for ever remembered victory. Also, with this tremendous success, India Under - 19 has emerged as the first nation to have won the ICC World Cup four times. 

Besides, India defeated Australia second time in a world cup final. 

Having won the toss, the Aussies chose to bat first. With their dismay there had been continual fall of wickets and the team, eventually, was dismissed for 216 runs in 47.2 overs. Indian opener Manoj Kalra, however, slayed the Australian bowling attack and scored an unbeaten tonne. He was well supported by Harvik Desai from other end. 

Buoyant with the illustrious performance of his boys, Rahul Dravid had all praises on young team India. 

"I am really proud of the boys, proud of the effort that they have put in and proud of the support staff as well. I think the effort we have put in over the last 14 months have been sensational. They really deserved this, couldn't be really happier and proud for this bunch of boys. It's really nice for them and hopefully it's a memory they'll cherish for a long time, and hopefully it's not a memory that defines them and they will have a lot more bigger and better memories as they go on ahead in their careers," Dravid said to media.
