Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna and Young Tiger Ntr locked horns during Sankrnathi season of 2016 with their films 'Naannaku Prematho' and 'Dictator' respectively. Ntr had upper hand over babai with the successful result of 'Naannaku Prematho' while 'Dictator' stood as a dud at the ticket windows. However, King Nagarjuna's 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' stood as the biggest hit of the season which was a different story.
If the updates of Balayya and Ntr's films are anything to go by, both babai and abbai may battle again for this year's Dussehra season. Balakrishna's 'Tapori' (tentative) shoot is underway. Team 'Tapori' has already announced that they would release the film on September 29.
On the other side, Ntr's 'Jai Lava Kusha' is on a slow pace of its shoot. Even though the makers locked August 11 as the release date, the film is unlikely to release on scheduled date and may get its release put off to the last week of September. As a result, there are high chances both Balakrishna and Ntr to have a clash for festive season again. However, the million dollar question is that whether Ntr beats babai's film again with his film or not. For time being, let's hope both the films would spin money at box office.
