TDP Shocking Failure in MLC Polls, Pawan Alerted
Ruling TDP successfully managed to win the MLCs of Kadapa, Kurnool and Nellore districts. However, opposition parties complained that ruling party purchased MPTCs by paying handsome amounts. Furthermore, they alleged that it would be an easy task to buy MPTCs which had no people involvement in casting the votes.
TDP however received a shocking blow from teacher and graduate MLC constituencies wherein lakhs of teachers and graduates voted against. This further indicated that TDP was entangled by anti-incumbency factor.
According to reports, TDP lost four constituencies which included two teacher and two graduate MLCs. However, TDP-BJP candidate from North Andhra constituency won poll battle.
It's now assumed that Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan could have understood the existing political scenario and the kind of anti-incumbency spread against TDP. If at all Janasena supports TDP, the party may have to face dire consequences in 2019 poll battle. As a result, Pawan Kalyan is said to be rethinking on alliance with TDP by analyzing the MLC results.
