East Godavari Impact in This Year's Hits

There have been numerous movies which had got their shooting done at East Godavari district and most of them scored hits. East Godavari seems to have an interesting connection with this year's hits. 

As we know, Sharwanand's 'Shatamanam Bhavati' was made on the backdrop of Atreyapuram village of East Godavari. Having released during Sankranthi season, the movie stood as one of the big hits of this year. 

Kakindada, the head quarters of East Godavari witnessed the first ever audio launch in the city with Natural Star Nani's 'Nenu Local'. This movie also turned out to be one of the huge hits of this year. 

Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Khaidi Number 150' crossed 'Baahubali's full run share in the territory and stood as the all time top grosser in the district. Moreover, Chiranjeevi made a magical feat in Tuni town of EG district crossing his 'Indra's town share record with 'Khaidi Number 150'.

And now, Mega Power Star Ram Charan's upcoming film in Sukumar's direction is being made with the backdrop of the story based on Godavari districts. This movie is also being hoped to be the biggest blockbuster.
