Modifying himself with changing trends and analyzing the cinema making business with time, veteran director K Raghavendra Rao remained as an iconic inspirational personality for many. While there has been news on KRR planning to retire from direction and ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’ could well be his last directorial but he rejected all those speculations.
‘I want to make many more devotional films based on stories of other famous temples and spiritual personalities. I need the blessings and permission from almighty for their progress,’ K Raghavendra Rao mentioned while discussing with media friends on ONV set for release on this Friday.
At peak times of his career period, KRR invented new norms for commercial Telugu cinema from elevation of heroism with strong emotion to exploitation of Srungara Rasam in heroines. Looks like, the legendary veteran is diverting the same attention now on to Bhakti Rasam because age brings in a new psychological perspective of understanding the world and KRR is completely enjoying the professional satisfaction handling the spiritual scripts.
