There are many successful producers in Telugu film industry. Coming to this generation, Dil Raju is carded as care of address for highest paybacks on production, distribution and exhibition wings. 2017 started on a bang. ‘Shatamanam Bhavati, Nenu Local’ stole the show completely becoming biggest blockbusters for Dil Raju with highest Return on Investment a producer can ever dream.
According to reports, ‘Shatamanam Bhavati’ made on scanty 10+ Crores budget raked an overall business of 40 Crores (all forms of trade like audio rights, satellite and other miscellaneous) assuring 30+ Crores net profit. Nani’s ‘Nenu Local’ is riding on same track and there are unimaginable profits flowing for Dil Raju.
Latest information is that Dil Raju spent huge amount in sharing these successes with his team members. The other day, a big cocktail party was hosted for all the artists and technicians of the two films at JRC Convention.
Of course, few of us may not believe in this because Dil Raju never expends money on such lavish parties but this time he does an unpredicted act. As per the data we got, 3000 guests including male, female main artists cum side artists and those from the level of spot boys, drivers to make up teams to dubbing artists to camera operators to art department to direction team… name any and all the 24 crafts worked on ‘Shatamanam Bhavati’ and ‘Nenu Local’ participated.
Inquiries revealed that more than 3000 liquor bottles of all sizes and all shapes are gathered at end of the party. About food, take any item from simple vegetarian starters to special Tandoori items and the menu was full of non-vegetarian specials. Arranging a jamboree for nearly 3000 members is larger than organizing a grand wedding.
From this single party, one can imagine the scale of overflowing revenues Dil Raju is enjoying with just two films and there’s a big movie queue waiting from him in 2017.
