For the past couple of years, some of the big films have been getting overflows/ fixed hires added either on the first day or at the end of the first week's run of the films. This strategy helped those movies with their collection numbers hiked and which ultimately led to a better mileage to the films.
As we know, Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Khaidi Number 150' stood as the biggest blockbuster and recently breached Rs.100+ crore share world wide. According to trade reports, the movie collected Rs.102 crores for three weeks run.
But then, mega fans across the Telugu states are complaining that no overflows were added to the movie. "Had the overflows been added, the movie's share would have been zoomed up to Rs.112 crores so far," say mega fans. They, further, alleged that the distributors had been reluctant to add fixed hires owing to some of the external and political factors. Currently, movie lovers are hoping the overflows would be added, at least, at the end of the full run of the film.
