There was the time when TFI produced hundreds of mythological and historical films decades before. Sanskrit slokas and poems sung by Ghantasala were the attractions in these films. And now, Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna is doing the prestigious movie of Tollywood, 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni', the historical magnum opus.
Balakrishna is extremely fond of uttering Sankrit dialogues on stage. Whenever he vocalizes those dialogues on stages, we see the audience listening to those dialogues spell-bounded and would feel boundless joy. That's why, many well wishers of Balakrishna wanted the Natasimham to utter Sanskrit poems in his 'GPSK'. Let's hope Balayya will not disappoint his fans and would sing Sanskrit poems in GPSK.
GPSK's release date was locked to January 12. Shriya Sharan plays opposite to Balakrishna in this film while Hema Malini will be seen as his mother. Chirantan Bhatt has scored the music of the film. Krish has directed as well as produced the movie on First Frame Entertainment.
