Abhishek Back In Game For Anjali!

There have been enough rumors surrounding Telugu film circles on Abhishek Pictures winded up their business in Tollywood due to differences cropped up between Abhishek Nama and his major financial partner. However, nothing of such reports have proved to be completely right because Abhishek re-constructed the faithful relations with partners and getting back into business with new distribution venture ‘Chithrangadha’ starring Anjali as heroine.

Directed by Ashok G of ‘Pilla Zamindar’ fame, this project is almost considered dead. Producer Gangapatnam Sreedhar lost everything investing on the film which was shot primarily in foreign locations. Now that Anjali hasn’t got any significant market and Sreedhar is not in a comfortable position to plan the release, they kept ‘Chithrangadha’ on hold. Director Ashok escaped from this project proceeding with ‘Bhagmathi’ starring Anushka. 

Good news is, Abhishek Pictures acquired all the rights of ‘Chithrangadha’ from producer Sreedhar and planning a grand release soon. One has to wait and see, how far this decision from Abhishek is right because their last experimental release ‘Mana Oori Ramayanam’ bombed big time at Box Office.
