Pawan: I Will Contest from Ananthapur

Power Star Pawan Kalyan officially proclaimed he would be contesting in 2019's elections from Ananthapur constituency. The Power Star convened third public meet of Janasena on 10th November, 2016 at Junior College ground of Ananthapur. Following are the excerpts from his speech.

* Special package was prepared by the experts who studied at Harward University. I just had my schooling at a street school. That's why I consulted the economists to understand the package of the union government and came here to explain about it.

* Experts revealed that the package announced by the union government was worth of Rs.1.70 lakh crores. Ironically, this said amount had to be given by the center as part of state's quota, even though they hadn't announced the special package But then, the AP government indulged in extreme flattery more than like anything. Having seen all these developments, it is understood that the union government is cheating the people of AP.

* Furthermore, the union government is deceiving AP state saying that Polavaram project a national project. Consolidating all the expenses made so far, the union government will be releasing just Rs.8000 crores on the project in lieu of Rs.16,000 crores. Moreover, the government clearly treated it as an irrigation project. Then, how come it should be a national project?

* The government promised to establish central university in Ananthapur. But, they broke their promise. If you go on cheating people like this, we'll teach you a lesson in 2019.

* Janasena doesn't personally target anybody. But it fights against the issues. 

* Janasena doesn't let women and farmers shedding tears.

* The TDP should not be caste biased. Give equal importance to all groups of people.

* Amaravati appears to be the property of the rich. Don't go overborad constucting skyscrapers in the city. Instead, built a corruption free city.

* I appeal both the TDP and the YSR CP should work on the problems being faced by Ananthapur.

* I will contest from Ananthapur constituency in 2019's elections. Janasena's first office will also be established in the city.
