Can Hindi Star Hold Our Telugu Interest?

More than neighboring Tamil and Malayalam heroes, Telugu cinema industry is getting flushed with Bollywood heroes. Yes, there were times when Salman Khan and Rajshri combo films used to have a dubbed Telugu release in parallel with Hindi originals. Later on the trend slipped off because of high failure rate. Now and then, some of the Hindi heroes are trying to revive their Telugu markets bearing mixed results.

This time, we have super star Hrithik Roshan arriving in Telugu states with his Hindi movie ‘Kaabil’ starring Yami Gautham as heroine. The action entertainer directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by Rakesh Roshan on their home banner Film Kraft Production is slated for January 26th release.

Off late, Hrithik suffered many defeats including the last one ‘Mohenjo-Daro’ declared a disaster. He is working hard to revive the fortunes. With dad Rakesh Roshan and uncle Rajesh Roshan in team, Hrithik is optimistic to repeat ‘Kaho Naa Pyar Hai’ with ‘Kaabil.’
