Nagarjuna is hailed as King of Tollywood for more than one reason. He is known for flexibility at experimentation with wide range of characters which no other star hero would adventure at. Besides that, Nag is said to be in talks with Overseas Network Entertainment agency to take up the lead in ‘Oppam’ Telugu remake.
It was reported few days back on Overseas Network Entertainment bagged ‘Oppam’ rights paying a whopping price to Mohan Lal. Although, they thought of releasing a dubbed version in Telugu after clinching the deal but they are laying hands on a remake now with Nag.
‘Oppam’ is story of a blind elevator operator on a task to nab a killer when he is wrongly charged with a murder at an apartment. Mohan Lal’s protagonist character possesses extraordinary sensory powers in the film. Nagarjuna was known to be clean bowled by the content. It is yet unknown whether he is ready to go blind or would make the producers wait more. We are very well informed on how effectively Nagarjuna played a paraplegic in ‘Oopiri.’
