Trisha’s career stood on the brink of closure when nothing has gone bright for her on both professional and personal fronts in last couple of years. Offers have been drying down one after the other. Despite ‘Aranmanai 2’ (‘Kalavathi’ in Telugu) and ‘Nayagi’ (‘Nayaki’ in Telugu) were declared as failures, she is still striving hard to gain an edge by betting on heroine centric scripts.
If reports are to be believed, Trisha has freshly signed an important Tamil movie ‘Sathuranga Vettai 2.’ This is a sequel to 2014 released critical and commercial hit flick ‘Sathuranga Vettai.’ Actor Manobala will be producing the sequel while Nirmal Kumar of ‘Saleem’ fame is finalized as director.
Most importantly, Aravind Swamy is set to play hero character in ‘Sathuranga Vettai 2’ and Trisha should be his female partner. Currently, Swamy is taking up projects very carefully and Trisha is really lucky to have got a place in this comic thriller sequel. Hopefully, this should revive her fortunes.
