‘Janatha Garage’ appeared like a clear winner when cash registers went on ringing in first week. Added with holidays and festival season making it special days for film as family audience thronged to theaters in high numbers, trade analysts and Mythri Movie sources have interpolated at the least Rs. 80 Crores as an easy figure to touch. Reports have been dismal in last few days. 

‘Janatha Garage’ trade totally fell flat in second week despite a fact that two to three other competitive movies released in this week can’t be rated at any cost as a threat before NTR’s huge stardom. Analysts are twisting their tongues quoting the reasons on missing of emotional depth and strong content in ‘Janatha Garage’ is letting the revenues to come down drastically both in domestic and overseas markets.

In turn, NTR’s last flick ‘Nannaku Prematho’ in Sukumar direction was a better farer in the USA (more than $2 Millions) despite the presence of other Sankranthi rivals like ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana, Express Raja’ and ‘Dictator.’ Yes, Sukku had an emotional connectivity with audience in father-son sentiment which was nowhere present in Koratala Siva writing. Keeping aside the overall collections, definitely ‘Nannaku Prematho’ was a creative and challenging film for NTR than a routine ‘Janatha Garage.’
