There’s some special news about ‘Brahmotsavam’ making rounds in media circles on many of the key characters in film haven’t got any names. Except Kajal Agarwal playing the role named as Kasi Annapurna, none of the leads including Mahesh Babu have got a name. This means, all of them will be connected to the main plot only with family and blood relations thus identifying all of them unified as within a family matter.
Of course, this has been a style followed by director Srikant Addala even in his past films like ‘Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ introducing his heroes as Peddodu, Chinnodu. Not to forget, Mahesh Babu has also tested this experiment in past with Gunasekhar’s ‘Arjun.’ Yes, you got it right. Entire narration of ‘Arjun’ goes on brother-sister sentiment and emotion wherein Keerthi Reddy addresses Mahesh as Vaadu or Veedu while Mahesh calls her as Meenakshi.
Only by climax just before end titles roll on, Mahesh Babu reveals his name as Arjun. So, that’s a fantastic feat paid off. Now, Srikant Addala is following Arjun sentiment and in fact still going extreme because Mahesh hasn’t got any name here. Hopefully, this one pays much more amazingly.
