Calculations have completely gone wrong within trade and Fans circles about ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh.’ A film which was anticipated to become a threat for ‘Bahubali’ records hasn’t even surpassed Pawan’s self made records of ‘Aththarintiki Daaredi.’ Such was the biggest failure of this season where Pawan Kalyan’s magnetic charm and colossal Fan power hasn’t come to much of use.
In fact, ‘Sardaar’ kicked off a poor start for most favorable summer season burying the buyers in super duper losses. Scared by Pawan Kalyan, the effect of ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ is also spreading to other biggies hitting the screens in coming weeks. Reports say, ‘Sarrainodu, Brahmotsavam’ buyers are shivering with their fingers crossed. Although business of both these films is closed for all the areas, exact test match begins only after the scheduled release.
Agreed that Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun are stars who can pull off bombastic opening records but the question is what’s next? Will either of these films sustain at ticket counters at least for three to four weeks? If not, buyers and exhibitors are always thrown to big risk. Tollywood needs a very big hit in immediate one or two weeks.
