Experimentation from Nagarjuna and perennial attitude from Prasad V Potluri to change the mindset of conventional Telugu audience has evolved in the name of ‘Oopiri.’ The film was received to rave reviews from critics and unique positive talk from audience. However, the same isn’t reflected in Box Office figures as we mentioned few days ago while scrutinizing its commercial performance.

Despite this week is declared dry with all new releases failing to take a stand, ‘Oopiri’ has to go a long way to reach the safe shores. For example, ‘Oopiri’ first week shares in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states bolted at Rs. 12.07 Crores liaises the forlorn story behind.

As per PVP official statement, ‘Oopiri’ is made on extravagant budget of nearly 60 Crores (including both Telugu, Tamil languages). At any cost, only a miracle can save the buyers and producers from losing their money. With a steep drop in collections reported from the decisive B and C order centers, ‘Oopiri’ is in deep trouble.

The message is loud and clear. People aren’t really ready to watch slowly narrated films devoid of commercial ingredients despite how great the content may be. ‘Oopiri’ proved this point strongly to industry people.
