‘Kanche’ and ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’ procured a new image to director Krissh. His ability to draw scripts on innovative thoughts with commercial sensibilities is immensely liked by Telugu audience. Of course, Krissh also mastered the art of controlling budget as seen in the case of ‘Kanche’ made on World War backdrop. This is primary criteria which made Krissh eligible to win Balakrishna’s 100th film.

Apparently, Balayya has the habit of granting call sheets to near and dear ones. So, Sai Korrapati and 14 Reels have jointly sketched the plan to produce NBK’s 100th flick in Boyapati Sreenu direction. Due to last minute changes, Krissh entered into the frame and ran away with bumper offer steering on Satavahana script. Although, Sai and 14 Reels tried their best to produce this project but Krissh was ready to direct Balayya only under some specifically applied conditions.

Krissh wanted his best buddy Rajeev Reddy to be given production duties in order to take the venture forward. Balayya keenly observed the track record and bonding between Krissh, Rajeev Reddy watching their earlier films. Finally, Krissh successfully kept Sai, 14 Reels away from Balakrishna’s 100th.
