Pawan Kalyan is attached with film industry from almost two decades. Very rarely we have seen him boasting the names of other artists or legendary actors to gain the mileage to his own film. This could be the first and last time where Pawan is using a non-Mega Star name for the sake of ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh.’
Ever since ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ plan to have a Hindi release is out in news, Pawan suddenly found extra love for Amitabh Bachchan. Now, Pawan doesn’t even mind saying it publicly that he is a diehard Amitabh Bachchan Fan and Sardaar is a tribute to Indian cinema legend.
‘I just love Amitabh Bachchan and I used to go mad about him in my early days. I met him when I was 8 years old while he was shooting for ‘Mahaan.’ In fact, my brother Chiranjeevi was also shooting a film for the same producers. I felt so happy when got the opportunity to meet my idol in person. I can still feel the coldness of his hands when he touched me. I stored this experience in my heart and mind,’ Pawan words literally drew Bollywood attention towards ‘Sardaar.’
What more Pawan can do rather than to use Big B’s name for finding a minimum market to ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ Hindi version releasing on April 8 in North India.
