Sardaar Gabbar Singh Trailer- An Analysis

The next Shot, a voice over says, that Rattanpur is a peaceful place, food and water in abundance, the background score of the flute does the talking, but the visuals don't convey the same thing though. The frame comprises no greenery, with one dried up plant in a barren land, starved lean goats starring at the camera. it comes out as a satirical comedy. This sequence from "HOBBIT" establishes what the voice over in "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" says.

In an other shot, which brings us to the actual plot of the movie, the Bulldozers move towards a child in a slow motion, The framing is weak, composition is a blunder, and no depth in the shot. Usually best shots go into the trailer which makes it intriguing to watch but this shot looks straight out of a low budget short film. it would be sloppy, if the shot ends with that limited machinery. The shot require more chaos. the machinery should depict "GREEDY SYSTEM" and "CAPITALISM" in this case.

Most of the time, grand scale implies to higher production values, The production value of the film can be gauzed the way the scenes are handled, like use of costumes, props, lighting, VFX…etc, Production value is an important aspect of the film when it comes to the business and sales. The trailer looks divided into bits and pieces, from the visuals one can easily say Kajal Aggarwal's introduction scene is brought from some other movie, neither visuals nor the background score doesn't match, Its abrupt.Sloppy exterior Art Work, or done in a hurry to meet the deadline, confined spaces for actors, no depth in frames, Blocking and staging of characters are more theatre like than a movie, more often still frames in the trailer sums up the first look,  The basics are neglected with a production based pipeline to meet deadlines. Sardaar Gabbar Singh's trailer can be fine tuned. All in all, Its never been or will be a walk-in-the-park for ART and BUSINESS together, yet they survive on the behest of each other.
