84 years of Telugu cinema is basically a hero centric industry. Let the technological development grows by leaps and bounds, let there's the emergence of TV, video and mobile world and let the intellectuals skills of people improved due to more literacy, cinema is still a wonder world for audience and heroes are still to be treated as gods.
Heroism, at times, appears to be disturbed and degraded with external factors such as sudden raise of some of the directors, non stop hits of small budget films etc. Post 'Baahubali's release, Telugu cinema seems to have been dominated by the directors and the movies with full of Heroism consisting mass entertaining elements appeared to have gone missing. Although, films like 'Srimanthudu' and 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' scored blockbusters, they are mostly filled with message content (Srimanthudu) and romantic elements (SCN).
However, forthcoming summer is set to offer movies filled with loads of Heroism. 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh','Sarrainodu' and 'Supreme', which are slated for release in April, are expected to quench the thirst of audience who are eagerly waiting for Heroism based films.
