Lepakshi: Govt's Event or Balayya's Personal Event?

Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna has been working with utmost dedication for the past few days to make 'Lepakshi Utsavalu' a great success. However, his hard work doesn't betoken that it is his personal affair. The AP government is reportedly spending Rs.4 crores on these festivities. In essence every celebrity of AP has a right to grace the event as it being a government's affair and moreover the government is ambitious to promulgate our culture and heritage to the world with the hidden agenda of inviting investments to AP.

Nevertheless, Balakrishna in recent press meet spoke as if the celebrations were his personal affairs and the AP Congress' top brass C Ramachandraiah pointed it out. " Balakrishna's words on inviting celebrities to the festivities are meaningless. I have no idea whether 'Lepakshi Utsavalu' are celebrated with Balakrishna's own expenses or the government's funds. He has no right to criticize Chiranjeevi," says CRR today. 

Meanwhile, 'Lepakshi Utsavalu' are scheduled on 27th and 28th of this month. Balakrishna has taken the responsibilities of promoting and organizing the event. He got the TDP's activists energized with his bicycle rallies and other promotional events.
