List of Tollywood Hits - 2015

Following is the list of Hit Films released in 2015 and their statuses. (Films ranging from industry hit to averages have been considered. Statuses are based on the investments on the projects and profits earned by them at the box office.)

INDUSTRY HIT: Young Rebel Star Prabhas and ace director Rajamouli's combo folklore entertainer 'Baahubali' collected a share of Rs.172 crores at the end of its full run world wide in its Telugu version alone breaking the previous industry hit share Rs.81 crores of 'Atharintiki Daredi'. The movie collected a total of Rs.240 crores share including all of its versions world wide.

BLOCKBUSTERS: Prince Mahesh's 'Srimanthudu' collected a share of Rs.83 crores and stood as an all time second biggest grosser of Tollywood. Post 'Baahubali's release none of the Telugu films was released for one month and the people were in dire need of a big budgeted film and 'Srimanthudu' quenched their thirst. And then, hero Nani's 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy', Raj Tharun's 'Kumari 21F' and 'Ohmkar's 'Raju Gari Gadhi' got blockbuster results among small budget films.

SUPER HITS: Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja bounced back with the super hit result of 'Bengal Tiger' after the debacle of 'Kick 2'. Kalyan Ram's 'Pataas', and Raj Tharun's 'Cinema Choopistha Mava' got super hit results.

HITS: Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej breached the mark of 20 crores club with 'Subramanyam for Sale'. The movie scored a decent hit at the box office. Sudheer Babu's 'Bhale Manchi Roju' is likely to be a hit.

ABOVE AVERAGE FILMS: Stylish Star Allu Arjun's 'S/o Satyamurthy' collected Rs.50+ crores world wide and got an above average result at the ticket windows. Gunasekhar's 'Rudhramadevi' also falls under this category with 50+ crores share collections including all languages.Young Tiger NTR's 'Temper's above average result was a big relief for the star after a series of flops. The movie collected Rs.42+ crores share. Dil Raju's 'Kerintha' Ram's 'Pandaga Chesko' and Sharwanand's 'Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju' also got above average results. 'Jathakalisey' is expected to be an above average film.

AVERAGE FILMS: Victory Venkatesh and Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Gopala Gopala' got an average result with Rs.42 crores share collections. Hero Nani's 'Yevade Subrahmanyam' and Mega Prince Varun Tej's 'Kanche' stood as an average grossers. 'Loafer's result is awaited.
