'Indra', APSRTC & SSR's 'Garuda' Connection

Megastar Chiranjeevi's industry hit film 'Indra' (2002) created a major impact among various sections of people from various departments then. One such department that got inspired by 'Indra' was none other than 'Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation' (APSRTC). 

APSRTC launched 'Indra' buses post the release of 'Indra'. Then divisional manager of RTC, himself, revealed 'Indra' title was an inspiration from Chiranjeevi's 'Indra'. This fully Air Conditioned bus has economical prices suits to the middle class. 

Apart from 'Indra', APSRTC also introduced another fully air conditioned flagship service 'Garuda' a couple of years ago. Interestingly, 'Garuda' is being contemplated as the title of Rajamouli's new venture to be made next to 'Baahubali 2'. Has Rajamouli got inspired from the titles of APSRTC's A/C coaches or could it merely be a co-incidence? Whatsoever, Rajamouli is hoped to make movies in rapid pace.
