It was nothing less than a crime on the part of Nikhil to sign a film with Kona Venkat at a time when the young hero’s career was sailing smooth with serious, sincere experimental subjects. May it be ‘Swamy Rara, Karthikeya’ and ‘Surya Vs Surya,’ the way Nikhil molded his professional track with wise selection of scripts and directors remained envious for his fellow artists.
Coming to ‘Sankarabharanam,’ one does not know what impelled Nikhil to allot the dates for Kona. Except the remuneration aspect or the hit banner along with a proven subject in Bollywood as ‘Phas Gaya Re Obama,’ there was no peculiarity or those rare features injected into hero’s characterization. To be much more transparent, Sapthagiri dominated Nikhil in whole of first half while Prudhvi leaded the kidnap gangs in second half.
So, this is appropriate time for Nikhil to re-erect the sudden drop in his career graph. He is safe and fine in the comfort area of experimentation. So, never let yourself into this rotten genre of confusion comedy or regular commercial formula. There’s a danger peeping for you…
