Director Gunasekhar was supposed to direct yet another historical entertainer 'Prathaparudhrudu' after the release of his latest super hit 'Rudhramadevi'. The end credits of 'Rudhramadevi' were also hinted the same viewpoint.
Seems like Gunasekhar has now changed his plan of action after 'Rudhramadevi'. He might have dropped the idea of making another historical film at the moment. Instead, he is pondering to make a mythological entertainer.
Grapevine is that Gunasekhar has registered a title 'Veerabhimanyu' at the film chamber. Abhimanyu, the son of Arjuna, as per Mahabharatha is a great warrior and gets his life ended showing ample valour. Although no hero has been confirmed on this project, any young star hero having an ultimate craze among the audiences is likely to reprise the role of 'Veerabhimanyu'.
Incidentally, 'Veerabhimanyu' was a 1965s blockbuster film which had Shoban Babu in the title role. V Madhusudhana Rao was the director of the movie.
