TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that he was trying to demean first Prime Minister of India Jawahrlal Nehru.
Speaking to media persons at the hunger stir of Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao at Pandit Nehru's statue at Abids, Vikramarka said that it was unfortunate that the Modi government ignored to celebrate the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru who laid the foundation for the modern India through his various progressive initiatives. He alleged that Modi was working on the principles of RSS which are very dangerous to the country’s initiatives. He alleged that the BJP leaders were trying to insult Nehru at every platform. He said that the Nehru’s vision was of binding the country together, while Modi was pursuing politics of hatred.
Later, Vikramarka offered lime juice to party veteran VHR to break his hunger fast.
