Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao came down heavily on opposition parties Congress, TDP and the Telangana political JAC accusing the obstructing the Mallanna Sagar project.
Speaking at a public meeting after inaugurating the Mission Kakatiya works at Jangampally village of Bikkanur mandal in Nizamabad district on Friday, the minister said that the state government was working tirelessly to ensure availability of irrigation to the farmers across the state. He lashed out at the opposition saying that they were not able to digest the fact the TRS government was leaving no stone unturned to make the state "Bangaru (Golden) Telangana." The state would turn into a green pasture if the said project is completed, he said.
The minister advised the people to question the intention of the opposition parties in creating obstacles in the said project and appealed them to lend support to the state government that was working for the all round development of the state.
