TRS Govt firm on developing Hyderabad: Talasani

Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Monday claimed that the TRS Government was paying special attention on the development of twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

Speaking after inaugurating the works worth Rs. 16 lakh for construction of BT Road in Shoukat Nagar of Banjara Hills Division here, Talasani reminded that the State Government has launched several development works as part of 'Swachh Hyderabad' campaign. Besides regularising lands, the State Government has launched 2BHK housing scheme in the city to help the weaker sections. He said that the State Government was committed towards turning Hyderabad into an international city.

Talasani said that the condition of roads in Shoukat Nagar was extremely bad and therefore, works on construction of new roads have been launched on priority basis. He directed the officials to complete the works as per the schedule.

GHMC Deputy Commission Mahender, Chief Engineer C. Chinna Reddy, HMWSSB General Manager Ramana and other officials were also present.
