Will CBN dreams of seeing Lokesh as CM turn fructify

Nara Lokesh, TDP National General Secretary, is widely perceived as the heir apparent to Chandrababu Naidu's political legacy. Having served as a minister in his father's cabinet, Lokesh's political ambitions are evident, particularly after the TDP's defeat in the 2019 elections. The party's current alliance has ignited speculation about Lokesh's potential rise to the position of Chief Minister, should the TDP return to power.

While TDP insiders believe that Lokesh will be elevated to the CM position if the party secures over 105 seats, the scenario becomes more complex if the TDP falls short of a majority. In such a scenario, Chandrababu Naidu is likely to become Chief Minister, relying on the support of alliance partners.
