DGP transferred with Amit Shah AP visit. The Election Commission has taken swift action in response to the complaints filed by opposition parties regarding the incumbent DGP of Andhra Pradesh, K Rajendranath Reddy. The EC has addressed the issue by ordering the immediate transfer of DGP Reddy and preventing his involvement in any election-related matters. This step demonstrates the commitment of the Election Commission to ensure a fair and unbiased electoral process.

In a proactive move, the EC has requested the state government to provide three new candidates for the Deputy General rank to replace Rajendranath Reddy. The state government has been given a deadline of 11 AM tomorrow, May 6th, to make their nominations. This means that Andhra Pradesh will soon have a new DGP, bringing a fresh perspective and renewed energy to the role.

The demand for Rajendranath Reddy's replacement grew stronger after the unfortunate stone attack on Jagan Mohan Reddy. Opposition parties claimed it to be a staged incident before the elections, highlighting the alleged failure of the incumbent DGP. The EC's decision not only addresses these concerns but also reaffirms the importance of accountability and maintaining law and order during the electoral process.

With the appointment of a new DGP on the horizon, the people of Andhra Pradesh can look forward to a more secure and transparent election environment.
