2018 Telugu Witnesses 70% Jump On Day 2

Malayalam movie 2018 which was released earlier this month in Kerala has emerged as biggest hit in Mollywood. The film has become the first Malayalam film to cross 150-crore mark. The film is now released in Telugu on Friday. Bunny Vas presented the film in Telugu. The film opened to good word of mouth in Telugu too. 

The film which is based on Kerala floods in 2018 has earned wide range of appreciation for it's portrayal of humanity and how people came forward during the natural disaster. It has collected 1.01+ crores gross on day 1. Now the Day 2 collections are greater than Day 1. The film managed to gross 1.7 crores on Day 2, which is 70% more than the film collected on opening day.

The day 3 bookings are solid and it looks like the film is on the way to create sensation in Telugu too. With the holiday factor adding, the families are flocking to theatres to witness the survival thriller on big screens. Heart-touching emotions are the biggest strength of 2018. 

2018 is directed by Jude Anthany Joseph. The film stars Tovino Thomas, Indrans, Kunchacko Boban, Aparna Balamurali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Asif Ali, Lal, Narain, Tanvi Ram, Sshivada, Kalaiyarasan, Aju Varghese, Siddique, and Joy Mathew, Sudheesh in prominent roles.
