Off-late, during the press meets of Telugu films, some journalists are asking embarassing questions to the team. To name some, DJ Tillu, Sakini Dakini, Rana Naidu and recently Virupaksha film press meets where the whole team attended and answered questions from press faced awkward questions. While some expressed their discomfort openly, some tried to handle it appropriately.
Such an incident happened at RamaBanam team press meet. Gopichand, Dimple Hayathi, Sri Wass and others are attended and spoke about the film. When the team is involved in a Q & A session, a journo asked Dimple Hayathi, " Nowadays Directors design characters of heroines differently. Your role seem Vulgar in this film with a glamour touch. Why is it designed that way even though the film is a family action drama.", He asked.
The word 'Vulgar' irked Dimple Hayathi. She replied, " Why did you say Vulgar. The film didn't have vulgar scenes. I think glimpses were also not released in such manner. I look decent in songs and poster of this film. I don't understand where you find 'Vulgarity' in these." She answered to this question keeping her cool.
Immediately Director Sri Wass clarified, " When you see the dress she wore for this press meet, you can understand her character in the film. This is a traditional film. It is her decision not to wear any modern dresses even for promotions of the film and is wearing traditional attires only. With this you should know her character depth in the film." Rama Banam is releasing in theatres on 5th May.
